The Norwegian Mountain Hiking Association own several cabins in the Stølsheimen area, and it is possible to walk from cabin to cabin along marked trails. A recomended two day family trip could start at the Skavlabu tourist cabin (approx. 1,000 m above sea level), continuing towards Vardadalsbu and further across to Norddalshytta, and then finishing up at Solrenningen. Mobryggja is a popular base for anglers. In our rivers you can catch trout and wild salmon weighing up to 15-20 kilos. A boat trip on the fjord is likely to result in a meal of cod, pollack, whiting, haddock, coalfish or mackerel. You can buy the fishing licence from us.
